How we handle
Plain English, no dark patterns, and nothing collected that we do not need to do the work.
What we collect
Only what you send us: your name, email, phone number and the description of your project. If you use the site without contacting us, we collect aggregate usage data and nothing that identifies you.
Why we hold it
To reply to your inquiry, to scope and deliver work, and to meet our accounting obligations. We do not sell data, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an inquiry.
How it is protected
Encryption in transit and at rest, access scoped to the individuals who need it rather than granted by default, MFA on every administrative account, and backups we restore on a schedule instead of trusting. We hold ourselves to the standard we sell; it would be difficult to argue for it otherwise.
Client data
Where we host or maintain your systems, the data inside them stays yours. We access it only to do the work you have asked for, and we log that access.
Retention
Inquiry correspondence is kept while there is a live conversation and for the period our accounting obligations require. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless a legal obligation prevents it.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Write to violettekonline@gmail.com and we will respond within one business day.
What we set, and why.
Necessary
Required for the site to function — page routing, form submission and security. These cannot be switched off.
Functional
Remember choices you make, such as language or a form part-completed, so the site behaves the way you left it.
Analytical
Tell us which pages are read and where people leave, in aggregate, so we can improve the site.
